The Tombstone Event Ride..Ride with GPS map

This ride takes in a loop from the historic town of Tombstone and allows us to visit the town after the ride.  starts in the historic Tombstone and rides to the East to the town of Elfrida.

Tombstone was founded in 1891 during a silver mining boom and was named by prospector Ed Schieffelin after a solider told him he would only find his tombstone in the area. Until the sliver boom ended in the late 1880's, Tombstone was a bustling hub of mining, saloons, and vice, which attracted famous figures like the Earps and Doc Holiday.  Tombstone has become a historic tourist destination in recent years, celebrating events like the OK Corral.

Lunch after at Big Nose Kate's Saloon, 421 E Allen Street.

Short option: out and back to Sierra Vista (35 miles)
